The economic condition of Kyrgyzstan isn’t recovered completely due to the long-term impact of the pandemic. Not to mention the war in Ukraine caused the price of goods to skyrocket within Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyzstan Consumer Price Index of all goods and services has risen 12%, while the main staples, such as flour, potatoes, and rice have even risen up to 18%. People are currently experiencing hard winter in Kyrgyzstan, the rising price of goods and oil made our supporting families’ lives harder than before. As a result, on top of the usual cash support, we also gave out food and bed comforters to let our supporting families withstand the harsh winter with more comfort.
